2. Products and product information

We sell Finnish–English Parallel Bibles and related products. Product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, and availability are shown on the relevant product page.

We aim to present products accurately. Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings or production variations and do not affect the product’s conformity with the order.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT, unless clearly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are shown separately before the customer places an order. The final total price, including delivery costs, is displayed at checkout.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payment is processed securely through the payment service provider selected by IEC BOOKS.

4. Placing an order

To place an order, add products to the basket, provide the required delivery and payment details, review the order, accept these Terms and Conditions, and complete the order using the button that confirms the payment obligation.

After an order is placed, we will send an order confirmation by email. The confirmation includes the main details of the order and these Terms and Conditions.

If a product is unavailable or there is an obvious material error in its price or product information, we will contact the customer as soon as possible and offer a refund or another suitable solution.

5. Delivery

We deliver orders within Finland unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Delivery methods and charges are displayed at checkout. Orders are delivered using the delivery method selected by the customer, such as a Posti pickup point, parcel locker, or home delivery.

Estimated delivery times are stated at checkout or in the order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day the customer, or a person appointed by the customer, receives the goods. To exercise this right, the customer must notify IEC BOOKS within 14 days. Returned goods must be sent back within 14 days after the notice of withdrawal.

Our detailed Refund and Return Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions and explains the withdrawal process, return costs, and refunds.

7. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect products

IEC BOOKS is liable for defects in products in accordance with mandatory Finnish consumer-protection law.

If a product is damaged, faulty, or different from the order, please contact us promptly at [customer-service email], including the order number and a description or photograph of the issue where possible. We will provide instructions and seek an appropriate remedy, such as repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, as required by law.

8. Personal data

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect customer information.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary. The version in force at the time an order is placed applies to that order.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact IEC BOOKS first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.

If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, a consumer may seek guidance from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority’s Consumer Advisory Services: https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-affairs/consumer-advisory-services/

The consumer may also refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board: https://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Finnish law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
